Life is all above what you want,
How you plan to get it.
Be yourself.
Don't just react to other's command all the time.
Learn to be leader.
You will know you are far better than what you think you are today.

SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day?
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done!
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?

You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"

You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

The End of True LOVE

I know I know I’ve let you down,
I've been a fool to myself.
I thought I could live for no one else.
But not through all the hurt and pain.
Its time for me to respect the ones,
Your love means more than anything does.

So with sadness in my heart,
I feel the best thing I could do
is ending it all and leave forever.
What’s done is done, it feels so bad.
What once was happy now is sad.

I’ll never love again, my world is ending
I wish that I could turn back time
Cos now the guilt is all mine
Cant live without the trust
from the ones you love.

I know we can't forget the past,
You can’t forget love and pride,
Because of that it’s killing me inside,
It all returns to nothing, it all comes,
tumbling down,
tumbling down,
and tumbling down.

It all returns to nothing,
it just keep
letting me down,
letting me down,
and letting me down.

In my heart of love,
I know that I could never love again.
I’ve lost everything, everything,
That matters to me,
matter in this world.

I wish that I could turn back time.
Cos now all the guilt is mine,
can’t live without
the trust from those you love.
I know we can't forget the past
You can't forget love and pride
Because of that, its killing me inside
It all returns to nothing, it all comes
tumbling down,
tumbling down,
tumbling down.

It all returns to nothing,
it just keep
Letting me down,
letting me down,
letting me down
It all returns to nothing,
it all comes tumbling down,
tumbling down, tumbling down

It all returns to nothing,
i just keep letting me down,
letting me down,
and letting me down.

Auld Lang Syne
Author:Robert Burns

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?

CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup of kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp,
And surely I'll be mine,
And we'll take a cup o kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!

We twa hae run about the braes,
And pou'd the gowans fine,
But we've wander'd monie a weary fit,
Sin auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl'd in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne.

And there's a hand my trusty fiere,
And gie's a hand o thine,
And we'll take a right guid-willie waught,
For auld lang syne.

Daniel in Malaysia Astronaut Selection

It all started in Year 2003. I was eager and energetic and submitted my application with a dream to become Malaysia 1st Astronaut. 2 years 10 months later, I received an email asking me for a first test after my application was shortlisted. From 11900 candidates, the 3.5km run with a timing of 20 minutes managed to eliminate 90% of the candidates.

Left 150 over candidates. On the same day, the medical examination managed to kick more candidates out from the dream to become Malaysia 1st Astronaut. I managed to push my physical fitness and managed to join the group of 59 candidates.

Another one week of full medical check up showed that I have perfect eyesight.  More blood tests, more physical tests, more x-rays, few dental checks… finally result out and everyone was sent home.

2 months later, a letter came and said I was not qualified to the next round just due to one simple reason. My 2 pieces of spinal bone was not formed in full and causes my spine to be 2% crooked.

So I'm out. But the experienced was a great one. I love it and always cherish the time spend with the rest of 58 candidates during the selection process.

Cheers

My Power in Me

This is a story is about George Dantzig - the famed mathematician who's contributions to Operations Research and systems engineering have made him immortally

As a college student, George studied very hard and often late  into the night. So late, that he overslept one morning, arriving 20 minutes  late for Prof. Neyman's class. He quickly copied the two maths problems on the board, assuming they were the homework assignment. It took him several days to work through the two problems, but finally he  had a breakthrough and dropped the homework on Neyman's desk the next day.

Six weeks later, on a Sunday morning, George was awakened at 6 a.m. by his excited professor. Since George was late for class, he hadn't heard the professor  announce that the two unsolvable equations on the board were mathematical  mind-teasers that even Einstein hadn't been able to answer. But George Dantzig, working without any thoughts of limitation, had solved not one, but two problems that had stumped mathematicians for thousands of  years.

Simply put, George solved the problems because he didn't know he couldn't.

You are not limited to the life you now live. It has been accepted by you  as the best you can do at this moment. Any time you're ready to go beyond the limitations currently in your life, you're capable of doing that by choosing different thoughts. All you must do is figure out how you can do it, not whether or not you can. And once you have made your mind up to do it, it's amazing how your mind begins to figure out how.

After all, a person is limited only by the thoughts that he/she chooses.

THE LIVER – Is this your Fear Factor?

1. Lungs & Large Intestines share the system. If one or the other is infected or sick, the other will also be sick.

2. When the Liver is in pain, there are not much signs or symptoms to be detected. Before many cancers happen, usually the Liver will be the first to get sick.

3. Liver filters out the poisons and it attacks all other viruses in the body.

4. 99% Chinese have weak livers as they eat a lot of meat, and high fat foods.

5. The Liver's repair time is effective from 11pm - 3am. Therefore, sleeping late after 11pm & having late night supper 2 hours before sleep especially high cholesterol and high fat foods weakens the Liver as it does not have sufficient time to rest and regenerate. Even when one sleeps in later in the morning to replace loss sleep will not help.

6. If U gets very hungry just before bedtime, eat some fruits & vegetables which is easy to digest. Meat takes about 4 hours to digest before it goes into the intestines. Meat cooked in oil takes about 12 hours before going into the intestines. This will provoke the Liver & the digestive tract to overwork in filtering the toxins thus u will tend to feel very tired when u wakes up in the morning.

7. Oil is the main culprit that will weaken the functions of the Liver and damage it. Medication cannot cure Liver problem and it will damage it even further.

8. Cold-pressed olive oil, carrot, cucumber, raw chili, garlic, onion, little bamboo salt/ sea-salt, radish, pumpkin and small fish are good for the body. Sesame oil is ok.

9. Food-preservatives, Food colorings, Bee Hoon are processed with Aluminum (Causes Dementia), Bleach, syrup; Pesticides are bad for Liver health. Wrong medication can shrink and damage the Liver badly. Radiation from microwave oven destroys all nutrients in the food.

10. Western medication is bad for the Liver. Chinese medication is bad for Kidney. White radish will disable the effects of the Chinese medication.

11. Sleeping late for children is unhealthy as it weakens memory and intelligence.

12. Best Healthy times to sleep is 9pm especially so for people who is sick or recovering from it and do not sleep later than 11pm. Lots of rest is good for the Liver to recover. When using eye-cover during bed-time, use only pure-cotton and do not use Rubber, latex material.

13. A Detoxification Diet helps the Liver & Intestines to recover fast. Natural fresh foods are best for the Liver and overall well being. Do not rely on packed, bottled or canned health foods/ vitamins as they lack a lot of natural and essential vitamins which can only be derived from pure, unprocessed natural foods.

14. A balance of mental/ emotional state of mind is very important to the total well-being. Too much Stress of all kinds, loud noises/music, anger, irritation suppressed for too long, Pessimism, depressive moods, no goals in life, feeling life has no value or blaming the World & Everyone else for his life will further weaken the body system. When the Liver is unhealthy, the Person usually has a bad temper and gets easily angered or irritated.

15. Giving out gas, perspiration and urine are ways of purging out the toxins from the body. Do not use too much of air-conditioners as they suppress the body from perspiration. This natural way of purging helps to reduce the load of the Liver. Open the windows for fresh air.

16. Give warm to any part of the body that is in pain will help ease it or soaking in a bathtub of warm water up to waist level will also help. Be careful if u have heart problems, do not soak up to heart level or else u might feel uncomfortable as your heart might get too stimulated.

17. Brown rice, wheat, oats, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yam and maize but we must be careful when buying these foods as they contain great amount of Pesticides. Maize and Brown rice contains B complex vitamin but be careful as Maize these days, has a lot of Pesticides in them too. Organic foods are better alternatives but they are more costly.

18. Blood A type has higher chances of Cancer diseases.

19. Blood O type has higher chances of Liver diseases.

20. Women Lives longer because they are more even-tempered due to their menstruation cycle expels the anger suppressed inside. It is better not to talk when a person is feeling very angry at that point of time. Breathe very slowly for 7 times and just smile.

21. Fat or overweight people usually have problems with their liver, heart and digestive system as they eat too much meat, high cholesterol and high fat foods which will damage their Liver and thus affect their heart and blood pressure.

22. Gastric problem is also associated with ingesting too much meat and high fat foods.

23. Heart & Uterus are linked together. Drinking 3000cc - 4000cc of good filtered water with a healthy detoxification diet will help keep them healthy too.

24. There is no need to go for unnecessary check up. X-rays, CT scans (radiation is 5x-6x higher) are bad for the body as it kills thousands of cells and thus weakens the body further. Cancers & diseases are sometimes quite hard to detect in your Yearly Health checkups or blood tests. By the time they are detected, that particular part of the body has already been quite damaged. Always get a second opinion from another doctor before proceeding with the recommended surgery. If it is Liver disease, medication will destroy it further. Go on a proper detoxification diet and sleep by 9pm daily will help the Liver to recover much faster.

25. Vegetable and Fruits are high in Vitamin Cs which will help detoxify the poisons in the body, thus helping the organs to recover during the detoxification. Drinking lots of water 2000cc - 3000cc will help the Liver as Urine is one way of detoxification.

26. Morning hours between 5am - 7am is the best time for Bowel movement otherwise the intestines might absorb the poisons from the digested matter to be distributed to the rest of the body and thus slow poisoning of the body will occur. This will result in the body getting sick.

27. Using Kelp Powder mix in water can help to stop itchy scalp.

28. Stones in gall-bladder, liver, brain, etc. are usually poisons accumulated from animal protein and oily foods.

29. Minerals - calcium, iron strengthen the kidney/bladder.

30. A Person having Mild Liver or Kidney problems can eat Fish & Beans only after 4 months of detoxification diet.

31. If the whites of the eyes are Yellow means you might have Liver & Gall Bladder problem.

32. Red vegetables or fruits are good for the Brain and the Heart.

33. Yellow vegetable or fruits are good for Digestion. Careful when choosing

Cabbage and Banana are good but they may have lots of pesticides.

34. Low Blood pressure is ok as long as the individual feels fine and healthy.

35. Having Pimples may mean that the toxins in the blood cannot be purged out.

36. Exercise is preferably done in the mornings as there is lots of oxygen from the trees, and plants. Night time is not advisable as there are lots of carbon dioxide coming from the trees and plants. Afternoon is too hot. After 40 years old, try to do light exercises like long distance walking and not to do heavy exercises.

37. Having Headaches may mean weak pump of blood/energy from the Heart shows lack of oxygen.

38. Black under eyes means Liver & Kidney are weak.

39. For Arthritis problem, eat High vitamin C, kelp and detoxification diet.

40. People with Breast or Uterine cancer must not eat sea-cucumber or salty foods.

41. High-water content fruits are easier to digest.

42. Exercise is good for the heart.

43. Use as few electrical appliances and household items in your homes. In the long term, they can cause radiation exposure and ruin your health especially your Television set, radio, huge sound system. Don't place them in your bedroom otherwise, you might find difficulty in sleeping thus feeling very tired in the morning. Also, try not to watch too much TV or surf the computer for a long time especially children otherwise in the long run, the radiation from the TV & computer might cause loss of memory and intelligence. Do not switch on the lights in your home or else too much of light exposure overhead might also be damaging to your body especially if you have not been very fit or healthy in your lifestyle.

44. My personal advice: If U wants to take a bigger step to a truly healthier lifestyle , please use only stainless, ceramic (without lead), glass for your cooking, eating utensils. In the long run, Aluminum materials will give U dementia. Also get rid of your non-stick pans and cooking utensils as the coating will eventually fade into your food which cause poisoning. Use water to cook your food lightly. Overcooking your food will cause it to lose most if not all of its nutrients.

Another Story is being Told

I was a movie celebrity. At least for 5 days! And will come into view on TV for 1 hour (NTV7, Friday, 830pm). I was asked to act as a boastful contestant. It was really fun. And I was really smug. I bet you will want me to be out even during the very first stunt. "The cocky guy will be out" I can hear your whisper.

Imagine you are all gear-up to climb Ford Frontier at 80meters soaring over a pond cliff. You were sitting at the driver sit. Release handbrake! The stunt man hollered from the ground. Looking down, I scream, "Done".

Are you ready? Yes I'm ready.

OK here we go. On my count… 3...2...1...go…

You ascend out from the driver sit via the side mirror. The Frontier was hang 50 degree aloft in the air and you are on your way to the top, trying your very best to reach then bend down and go below the number plate and release your very first Fear Factor flag. You then quickly retract yourself and climb to the back of the Frontier.

At 80meters high and the Frontier is 50degree upward, Oh… the back was slippery and you try hard not to fall. You reach the bottom but the key was suspended below the back number plate. You got to advance down. You are about to fall off. Grasp hard on anything possible. Detach the key. Be quick. Time is still running. You got to make yourself qualify for the second stunt.

Ah… come on… the key… ah… Without hesitation, you bend lower and release the key. Got it! Now heed back to the driver sit and start the engine. TIME!!!! Well done Daniel. You are fast. You are damn cocky just now and yet, you are fast.

1 minute 05 second.

I was blindfold. The van accelerated and outdoes lot of vehicles on its way to the stunt location. Today is second stunt. No…it is not about eating rotten cheesecake with additional refresh of worms, maggots and more. No I'm not scares of eating it; I just know that doesn't taste yummy.

I waited until 5PM. My turn was after heavy downpour. This wasn't really fair. But hey, there are never fair games in this world. It is all about perception. Daniel, are you ready? Yes, lets do this.

On my count…3…2…1

I jumped to the car bonnet, reached the windscreen. I open my mouth wide and dash from the bottom to the top of the windscreen getting all the maggots, earth worms and crickets' top-up of mixture of unknown stuffs to my mouth. Quickly run down and heed for the bowl set on top on a weighting machine. 500 grams is all I need. Time! 36 second is all I took to complete the second stunt. Yeakkk… the smell was horrible. It tastes like overnight rotten oat.

I can still sense the taste, the crawling maggots, earth worms and the agitated crickets. All are still moving and shattering in my mouth. Some scratches my lips and tongue. Blood is everywhere. My newly bought tight torn due to the greasy car surface.

Oh Daniel… you are fast, you are crazy. What can I say, the rain make the car wet and yet you make it really fast. You are real dare-devil. Will see you tomorrow for out final stunt ok. See you guys.

The journey to the final was elongated and windy. We zigzag all the way to Genting Highland. There we were put to kill time for 4 hours. Ok, I got to admit that they manage to create the tedium in me. Far at the other end of the highland, 2 modified dirt bike with at least 20 crew members have been waiting for us.

Shamseer Sidhu called out. Guys - are you ready? Take a look over there. That will be your final stunt for this episode. You are going to ride that bike out from 4th floor and free fall to the ground below you. The farthest you are… you will be the Champion for Fear Factor Malaysia. RM10 000.00 will be yours. One of you is going to go home with RM10 000.00 today.

Khairul, you are the lucky number 1. Let's do this. Daniel you are next.

Daniel, how are you feeling? What is your strategy? You are all gear up. You sure you going to ride out of the building just like this? Aren't you scared of the height?

= silent =

Ok Daniel, here we go… on my count... 3…2…1

I squall out from the building with gear one. Clutch, the bike suddenly dawdling. Shit! This bike has been modified. Tricked, Shit. I readjust the petrol pedal and re-ram the bike. Here goes nothing. 14.02meters.

Oh no… I am short of a few CMs. Oh no… the cocky guy has failed. Whole Malaysia is now cheering. Yeah, he failed. Told you he should and now he is… HAHAHA. He is damn cocky. He deserves to fail. Hope he won't be back in any other show.

Ok… this is the end of Fear Factor Session 1 for me. What's next?

Cheers for everyday.

My Six Senses

Do I Really Have Six Senses?

I told myself not to believe it. It can't be true. This is not real. But as at today (9.35PM Malaysia time, December 8, 2005) it has again proven to be real.

I was young and kind of a freak. I know what will happen to my personal life next and it does kind of ensued. I know I will achieve my career plan at a reasonably young age and I did. I also know that I'll give it up very soon. Is happening now. May take some time to enliven.

I know I'll into short terms charity work and I did. I will pass my exams well and I did. I know when my friends told me that he has applied for so many jobs and always get rejected and I told him that one particular one will come true and it is that one that he got.

I have great feeling that I'm crazy in lots of things and its true that it happen. I told myself that I'll pass the astronaut selection but my six sense told me no. And NO is the answer. Before the Fear Factor, I know that I'll be number 2. And it is true that I end up number 2. This can't be real. This is crazy.

No, No. I'm not sad or depressed over the loss in FF and Astronaut. Few weeks ago my best "friend" told me something about a job in Hong Kong and suddenly, my crazy six senses took charge again. I knew it that time that he will get this offer with a very lucrative pay. YES. It happened. He is offered and I am also sure that he will move to Hong Kong by mid January. Let see if this also happen?

I have been denying my six sense but it keep coming back with actual and true result and proven "himself" to be really real. I have this feeling that I will live and die alone at a very old age. This feeling is not something that I made up but the feeling that somehow comes from my six sense. I do pray that this last feeling is not true. PLEASE. I don't want to live the luxury life that I will be creating by myself alone. I want to share it. Share it with someone truly special to me.

I can't sleep tonight. I am sad. Sad not because of FF and Astronaut! It is something else in total. Only one person that I spoke to just now know that only reason. Sad that I know and my six sense also telling me that something more challenging is on its way. I need to really open up my heart and accept the reality. A reality that may hurt very much if I failed to open up my thought within this month or next the latest.

Oh… I'm feeling dizzy. Headache is hitting badly, but I can't sleep. The anxiety is too strong tonight. I have been writing this blog with my mind running up and down, left and right and it keeps running. This article is much unorganized.

The feeling I have now is an extremely strong mixture of happy and sad. A very jovial and almost depress at the same time. I need to get out of this real soon.

Readers, I know I'm confusing you with this writing, I wish I can share the total story with you. Somehow, there is some thing here that I need to keep it as my secret and I need to keep it for myself otherwise it is not call secret. I'm sorry for this. I will end my writing now. I'll feed you more information later.

=end=

Why Am I a Thrill Seeker?

People said, life goes on and there is no good significance to have the past affecting the present and the future. I would much agree with that. However, I also give credence to the past and shape up myself to a better level for the future. Life is always a continuous learning. Basically, it is knowledge enhancement and how we apply it to our living.

I was offered a place to study in University of Malaya in year 1997. Came from a reasonably poor and surviving family, the contemplation was to accept the offer or to get a job instead. I decided to go for the offer and hook up on some part-time job to support my living and study in Kuala Lumpur.

God is with me, an offer from Kuok Foundation arrived. It was a study loan. The girl who interviewed me asked for 2 guarantors to counter sign my contract with them. My parent called up relatives and what a wonderful “relatives” that I have. All just ran away. WOW… when they talked about good things, god, charities, etc, its kind of like tears pouring down their cheeks and when the actual time to help me pen my document, they just have reasonable extenuation to say – I’m Sorry. The actual vocabulary for these peoples is HYPOCRITE.

The main reason will be; why should I help him? He has got no money to pay back later. His parents is poor and it just so much a risk to take.

Well I understand this very much. As a normal person on this sharing earth, I learn that life is more than just knowing the person. One will really have to learn the true meaning of life to accept who they are and where they want to be in future. Judging a person by his present plights and making up a presumption is something that some of my relatives regretted now. Hmm… I sound so vengeance. This is so not me! but I guess it is in me…otherwise I won’t have the idea to say it out.

A stranger helped me and I’m truly grateful for that. At least there are plenty of good people around. I am truly blessed to get to know them. I have those who care for me. Those that far away in actual kilometres but so closed; closed till I can feel their present next to me. The hug and warm is so strong. The love that you will never understand; Not until in found that somebody…

The study loan came with responsibility. I was instructed to maintain my study record at nothing lower than 3.5 /4.0. That will be 1st class with honour in all major Universities. I made it. I was also to show reasonable extra-curricular activities records in my bi-annual report to Kuok Foundation.

Of cause I have plenty to give. I played tennis for the college; I swim for the college and collected plenty of medals for this. I played softball; I became sport club president. I’m into running, coaching other on organising activities, involve in academy seminars, student election and was appointed head of student committee board without being candidate as contestant. I should have scan and included my 80 over peaces of certificates and the entire awards commendation letters here. Hahaha. Proud to be myself I guess…

I just enjoy staying active. I’m hyperactive and I recognise this long ago. I then learn to make a better use of myself as a hyperactive person. Not to put all those great energy to waste basket after graduation, I continue with all my activities and added a few recently. Rock-Climbing, Bungee Jump; I done water rafting; spurt out from my body during paintball games.

Adrenaline’s never run out from my body at the moment, I’m into Fear Factor. Hope to get some fun out of this soon. Oh.. no no news from the Astronaut Committee as at today. I guess something must be up with them. I also learn never to put “too high” expectation on thing which I have no control of as human tends to get disappointed if it never materialised.

As the HR Manager with reasonable income, I also carry the responsibility to help my retired parent. The kitchen needs to be filled up almost every 2 months and I’m so happy to get to do that for them. Nothing is more meaningful in life then having the opportunity to serve the one that has brought you up.

Cheers for the Blessed DAY

This Is As Tough As The Thrill Seeker :-)

Looking at the above amazing things that this watch can do, I would definitely said that it surely will be a good buy provided the person really know how to benefit from it.

The price may be at the high side in Malaysia. But if you happen to be in USA, you may want to check it out as I have seen this in ebay, amazon, etc and it is pretty reasonable in western country. Anyway, electrical gadgets are always more expensive in Malaysia.

Also if you are a person who is very outdoors and always with lots of activities, the time peace may be a good companion to you. It really ROCKS.

Wow… I’m now also a promoter and marketing manager for www.casio.com hahaha. This happened when you have extra time once a while…

Cheers for the DAY DaneilNKH
